Our Story

Outrageous Crates

The OC team is preparing to introduce a never-before-seen, next-level solution in personal storage and modular infrastructure—engineered to serve military, govt/municipal shelters/programs, underserved communities, disaster survivors, off-griders, and outdoor brands alike. Built for rapid deployment and rugged use, OC is more than a product—it’s a movement to partner with Humanitarian Services Initiative (HSI) to support populations around the World, and in the US, to support homeless veterans and first responders!

Stay tuned as the OC team launches a game-changing system that blends purpose with performance.

Founder & Inventor, Outrageous Crates, LLC (Patent Pending: Application #63/843,365)

U.S. Military Veteran | 23+ Year Career Firefighter | Brother | Father & Grandfather

  • Ken Duggan is a man of service, resilience, and vision. As a U.S. military veteran and career firefighter with over 23 years of frontline experience, he has dedicated his life to protecting others and solving real-world problems. He’s also a seasoned entrepreneur, currently operating Duke City Carts, LLC—a company that partners with municipalities, retailers, and business leaders across New Mexico to tackle urban challenges like unhoused persons living in encampments, abandoned shopping carts and electric scooter clutter.

  • Ken’s journey has not been without hardship. Having experienced homelessness twice, he carries a firsthand understanding of what it means to live without shelter, security, or dignity. These lifetime experiences became the catalysts for innovation.

  • He founded Outrageous Crates—a USPTO patent-pending (#63/843,365) line of mobile, secure, and weather-resistant storage systems designed to serve those most in need. Currently in the design and development stages, these modular units are being engineered for real-world deployment in humanitarian, outdoor, and disaster relief contexts. They offer protection, mobility, and hope.

  • Through his nonprofit, HSI, the OC/HSI teams will be working to deploy these units across shelters, cities, and underserved communities—ensuring no one faces the world without a safe place to begin again.

Above all, Ken is a proud father and grandfather. His work is driven by a deep desire to leave behind a legacy of compassion, ingenuity, and impact.
